The intense, four-day course covered fibres and fabric manufacture, dyeing, chemistry, and specialized spotting, in addition to methods and procedures for cleaning. Also covered were procedures for speciality cleaning of delicate fabrics, such as velvets, stains, jacquards and Haitian cottons. Emphasis throughout the course was placed on providing quality results consistent with maximum safety for the consumer.
