Newport Gwent Dragons Case Study

The Newport Gwent Dragons are one of four professional rugby Regions in Wales playing in the Celtic League, Powergen Cup and the Challenge Cup competitions.

The Dragons represent the South-East Wales area and play all of their matches at Rodney Parade, situated in the city of Newport.

The Dragons were established in the summer of 2003 following the WRU’s decision to reduce nine clubs into five regions. In the summer of 2004 this dropped to four following the unfortunate demise of The Celtic Warriors.

Solution:

A Comprensive, effecient and prompt solution was required due to a wedding function being held
on the coming weekend.

Crawfords bagan work in the Function rooms on the Tuseday evening before the wedding to ensure drying was completed ready for the weekends celebrations. This was completed on time and successfully to the satisfaction of the catering manager

Due to the scale of the project work was undertaken over the follwing weeks to the hospitallity suites.

The work on the administration areas was carried out during the weekends to ensure that there was no disruption to the
staff during working hours.
